After a several year hiatus from golf’s “BIG DANCE,” Greg Norman appears to be ready to hit the greens attempt to don the Green Jacket. This is going to be a monumental Tournament with Tiger Woods winning for the first time after surgery, Greg Norman returning to play, and last years surprise win by Trevor Immelman looking for a repeat.

Greg Norman has been in interview after interview over his career. He has talked hits, misses, and most importantly fitness. So WWGND?According to shark.com Greg has a recommended pre-round, on course warm-up. This includes several stretches to warm up your legs, trunk, and arms.

My recommendation is doing a dynamic Warm-up and forget about the static stretches. I believe that with the current research Greg would agree. No Stretches should be held from more than 8 to 12 seconds.

In preparation for this tournament WWGND?

Depending on the part of the season and how close it came to this event Greg’s fitness routine would vary in intensity, duration, and activity.

There are times through a training routine, even for a golfer, where he or she needs to have a function building phase, a strength phase, and a power phase, all the while maintaining good cardiovascular efficiency.

And of course with Greg’s booming business skills and ability to grow his profits over his lifetime WWGND approaching this monumental? Continue to live the life he has up until Competition week, work hard at improve his fitness level, go out, and have fun!
