Odyssey Backstryke

The rear-shafted design makes it ultra-easy to align the clubface to your target the shaft won't impede your line of sight so they say. At first glance the Backsrtyke putters are unusual at best. I started with the 2-ball model because I felt familiar looking down at this putter. It took about 20 minuets to get comfortable but after I did the ball was rolling great. Once you get use to it, the Backstryke is very easy to set-up and align.

The shaft angle also creates a natural forward press without delofting the putter, so the ball tracks nicely to the hole. The shaft position near the head’s center of gravity enables you to swing the club back and forth freely. The club's design also allows you to set up with the putter forward in your stance, your hands ahead of the ball, and your eyes behind the ball. Backstryke comes in 2-Ball, Marxman or Blade styles.

In the market for a new putter? The new Callaway Backstryke line might be just what you have been looking for.
