Course Management

Course Management is just as much knowing your strengths and weaknesses as it is knowing the golf course. One of the most important factors in Course Management is honesty. The player needs to be honest with themselves when identifying weaknesses to truly master Course Management. The other side of Course Management requires the player to become a student of course design. Golf course architects engineer "tricks" into their designs to give courses teeth. Identifying the tee that aims you into the woods or the false front green before you make a mistake can be key to success when playing a course for the first few times.
